Dr. N. Amin is a board-certified, fellowship-trained retina specialist and founder of Ocean County Retina. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse and completed both his ophthalmology residency and a prestigious Vitreo-Retinal Surgery fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center under renowned specialists Dr. Everett Ai and Dr. Richard McDonald.

Dr. Haris I. Amin
Dr. Amin is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists, and has participated in global ophthalmic education through ORBIS International. Before founding his practice in New Jersey in 2004, he held retina subspecialty positions in Illinois and Georgia.
His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Retina, Ophthalmology, and Archives of Ophthalmology, and he has authored chapters in key ophthalmology textbooks. Dr. Amin continues to lecture at specialty conferences and enjoys biking, baseball, and time at the beach with his family.
I just want to thank Dr.Amin and Jen and his awesome staff for everything they did for me during my journey to restored vision.
Can not say enough good things about Dr Amin and his staff. Their office fit me in stat when my eye doctor called over to them and then proceeded to assist me for appointments with other doctors. Dr Amin and his tech were very informative and thorough as well.
