Jeffrey Guillmette, M.D., practices general ophthalmology at Ochsner Health in New Orleans and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco (1992), completed an internship at Ochsner, and finished his ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. On staff at Ochsner since 2000, Dr. Guillmette provides full-spectrum eye care, including laser procedures and surgical treatment, with a particular focus on cataract evaluation and surgery. Outside of medicine, he enjoys fishing, exercising, and watching sports.
