Dr. Bausell brings extensive training and clinical excellence to her role as an ophthalmologist and corneal specialist. She graduated magna cum laude with distinction in research from Boston University, where she studied psychology and public health, before earning her medical degree from Columbia University. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Pennsylvania’s Scheie Eye Institute and went on to complete a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the University of Maryland, further refining her expertise in complex corneal treatments.

At Kremer Eye Centers, Dr. Bausell provides a full spectrum of vision correction services, including cataract surgery with premium lens options, LASIK and PRK refractive surgery, pterygium excision, corneal transplants, and collagen cross-linking for keratoconus. She remains active in research, with numerous peer-reviewed publications and academic awards recognizing her contributions to ophthalmology. A member of the AMA, AAO, ASCRS, and Refractive Surgery Alliance, Dr. Bausell stays at the forefront of advancements in eye care to provide her patients with the safest and most effective treatment options available.
